One of my favourite times of year is when the bluebells come out. I’m very lucky to live on a place surrounded by ancient woodland where these beautiful flowers carpet the ground making for beautiful family photos.
Did you know, almost half the world’s bluebells are found in the UK? These beautiful flowers are protected in the UK so being cautious whilst taking photos amongst them is essential. The best way to photograph them is to have the bluebells in between the photographer and their subjects, at the right angle it looks as though they are amongst the flowers, despite not treading on them at all.
During April and May I run mini photoshoot sessions in the woods. These work well for family photos as well as couple photos. Doggies are also very welcome as long as they’re kept under control to prevent damage to these beautiful flowers. You can book sessions via this online link
